EVENING RITUALFILMS BY AARON BEARINDEPENDENT FILM & CREATIVE PRODUCTION02 / AARON BEAR
Documentary filmmaker. Creative producer. Drawn to the stories that ask us to see differently.

Aaron Bear is a filmmaker and creative producer working across documentary, independent cinema, and branded storytelling. His films explore identity, belonging, and the lives that complicate familiar narratives.
His documentary Yes I Am - The Ric Weiland Story, narrated by Zachary Quinto and executive produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, received Special Recognition at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards.
His debut feature, Finding Kim, premiered at SIFF in 2016. His producing work includes Wes Hurley’s Shelly’s Leg and Colin G. Cooper’s horror short Bath Bomb. Current documentary projects include A Light in Cañon City and Steele Crazy.
A CAREER ACROSS WORLDS
Aaron’s commercial career includes creative-production work with Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, and Adobe. At Adobe Studios, his portfolio connects creative technology with the people behind the edit, from FX’s The Bear to product storytelling for Premiere Pro.
The through line is human: an attention to trust, a feel for the unguarded moment, and the ability to carry a story from the first conversation to the finished frame.
